As hard as it is, I have decided that it is time for me to find someone to take over SSS from me. I’m not going to put the cart back up (I am sold out), but I hope to have someone else pick up where I am leaving off. Please see my blog post for my full announcement. Many, many thanks for all your support over the years!
Also note that I have changed my blog's name to The Artisan Insider and have updated to a pretty new format; I am continuing to blog there with the goal of celebrating and supporting artisan businesses. The Artisan Insider features the stories behind artisan businesses as well as topics of interest to small business owners. I also will continue to post updates about me and about SSS under the personal and SSS categories.

You can stop by our blog if you're interested in more information about the perfume-making process or want to follow the progress on the new scents. The blog and the newsletter are different; the newsletter goes out just a few times a year to announce new scents and important product alerts, while the blog is usually updated at least weekly and contains a mix of content (updates on my work on new scents, information about perfumery ingredients, interviews with people in the fragrance world, links to articles of interest elsewhere on the net etc.). If you'd like, you can sign up to receive email alerts from Feedburner when we add a new post to our blog (you'll get maximum one email per day, just on days new posts are added so you don't have to remember to check back):
Or if you'd like to add our blog Perfume in Progress to your feed:
Sonoma Scent Studio usually provides a quick turn-around time of 1-4 business days, but that can change periodically depending on the number of orders coming in. Updates will be posted here if it will be longer than 1-4 business days. You'll usually get a shipping notification email when your shipping label is printed.
