Two news items. First, the post Ten Tips For Exploring The World Of Perfume on Perfume In Progress was recognized as one of the top submissions in the Perfumed Plume Awards for 2016. I’m grateful to be included in such good company!
Second, Sonoma Scent Studio will take part in the first AIX Scent Fair in Los Angeles May 6-8 (sponsored by The Institute For Art And Olfaction and Luckyscent); we will share a booth with Ellen Covey of Olympic Orchids in the fair. The exhibit will include 40 tables of indie/artisan perfume to explore, so come visit if you can!

You can stop by our blog if you're interested in more information about the perfume-making process or want to follow the progress on the new scents. The blog and the newsletter are different; the newsletter goes out just a few times a year to announce new scents and important product alerts, while the blog is usually updated at least weekly and contains a mix of content (updates on my work on new scents, information about perfumery ingredients, interviews with people in the fragrance world, links to articles of interest elsewhere on the net etc.). If you'd like, you can sign up to receive email alerts from Feedburner when we add a new post to our blog (you'll get maximum one email per day, just on days new posts are added so you don't have to remember to check back):
Or if you'd like to add our blog Perfume in Progress to your feed:
Sonoma Scent Studio usually provides a quick turn-around time of 1-4 business days, but that can change periodically depending on the number of orders coming in. Updates will be posted here if it will be longer than 1-4 business days. You'll usually get a shipping notification email when your shipping label is printed.
