Body Products

All our body creams and lotions are made with pure, natural oils and butters; they contain no parabens, mineral oil, petrolatum, TEA, DEA, sulfates, or formaldehydes, all of which are very common in lotion. We use shea butter, cocoa butter, organic herbs, and lovely natural oils such as sweet almond, avocado, grapeseed, coconut, and meadowfoam seed. These natural ingredients are rich in antioxidants that benefit your skin. Specific ingredient lists are given with the description of each product below. We're very fussy about our ingredients and hope you'll feel as good using these creams and lotions as we feel offering them. Our shea body cream is offered year round, and other products are offered seasonally.

Natural Shea Body Cream

This luxuriously thick body cream spreads easily, absorbs well, and keeps skin hydrated and smooth without being as heavy as body butter.

In addition to shea butter, Natural Shea Body Cream contains silk protein (helps bind water to skin to keep it hydrated and gives lotion a smooth feel during application), wheatgerm oil (rich in vitamins E, D, and A as well as essential fatty acids), rosehip oil (high in vitamin A as well as linolenic and linoleic essential fatty acids), meadowfoam seed oil (rich in tocopherols), avocado oil (rich in vitamins A, E, and D as well as oleic and linoleic essential fatty acids and skin-softening sterolins), coconut oil (light and emollient), and grapeseed oil (rich in linoleic fatty acid and antioxidants).

Lavender Absolute
This is a blend for lavender lovers that contains an exceptional lavender absolute. Like the essential oil, lavender absolute has the slightly camphorous herbal kick of the real flower, but it has a smoother scent than lavender essential oil, has a stronger coumarin note, and lasts longer on the skin. Lavender absolute is rarely offered in lotion because it costs much more than the essential oil. This blend is mostly lavender with subtle complementary touches of cedar, citrus, amber, and patchouli.

Velvet Rose
A deep and velvety rose soliflore with soft supporting notes of bergamot, violet leaf, carnation, musk, and patchouli. Like a fresh-picked rose. For maximum staying power, layer with the
matching edp or parfum oil.

Sienna Musk
A warm, woodsy, softly spiced skin musk. Notes are musk, sandalwood, nutmeg, cardamom, ginger, clove, cedar, cypress, and mandarin. Also available in
edp or parfum oil.

Cashmere
Soft musk and sandalwood warmed by a hint of cinnamon and mellowed by gentle vanilla and amber. This comfort scent is especially nice in the cooler months and works very well in lotion form. (This is an original blend and is not a dupe of DK Cashmere Mist, nor is it at all similar to that scent.)

Opal
A cozy, soft skin scent with notes of sandalwood, vanilla, musk, bergamot, ambrette. This scent is very nice in lotion and is also available in
edp and parfum oil.

Femme Jolie
A long-lasting cedar scent composed of woods, soft spices, musk, fruits, and florals. Notes are ginger, cinnamon, clove, plum, peach, orange blossom, violet, cedar, sandalwood, vanilla, benzoin, musk.
